The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has fixed the price of land within the metropolis. The new price of land within the metropolis has been fixed through the Fiscal Bill of the Fiscal Year 2077/78.
On the basis of the location of the land and the width of the road touched by the land., price of land has been fixed by KMC.
The metropolis has set the price of the cheapest land at Rs .4 million per aana (NPR 4 Lakh per aana) and the most expensive Rs 5 million per aana ( NPR 50 Lakh per aana) within the Kathmandu metropolitan area. The metropolis collects property tax according to this price rate.
